Our helical foundations are installed by our certified installers, using proprietary hydraulic machines, allowing you to immediately start building on them, without the hassles of digging holes and pourring concrete.
Techno Metal Post has developed a range of hydraulic machines dedicated entirely to the installation of helical piles. They are all designed to perform rigorous and reliable work. In most cases, no excavation is necessary for common residential projects.
The price of our products is very competitive compared to traditional concrete foundations. No excavation is required and no need to wait for the concrete to cure. In addition, there is no need to repair the site or remove excess soil. All of these factors mean that your project, carried out with Techno Metal Post, will save you time and money.
The adapted systems of our compact and powerful machines ensure an unequalled quality of installation. In addition, they can access most difficult places to get into. They have the ability to install on sloped terrain, and our smallest machine can even fit through a door frame.
It is easy to obtain building permits when you use our product in lieu of traditional concrete footings. Our product is Code compliant and accepted by Building departments. Techno Metal Post products have been evaluated by IAPMO for its compliance with the International Residential Code (IRC) and hold the Evaluation Report #ER-481. Also, for projects submitted to the International Building Code (IBC) Techno Metal Post has been evaluated by ICC-ES and possesses the Evaluation Report #ESR-3418.

A project using Techno Metal Post helical piles was nominated for the 2013 “Ontario Association of Landscape Architect’s Award for Service to the Environment“. This award is given to recognize and encourage a special contribution to the sensitive, sustainable design for human use of the environment.

Add in the fact that I'm saving huge bucks in labor by not having to remove displaced earth, haul concrete, and clean up the mess makes Techno Metal Post the only way to begin a deck project.

A solarium needs a foundation [...] having a concrete slab on grade with posts driven through the slab to lock it in place, so it won’t shift or move over time. But the kind of posts your contractor uses will make all the difference. We used Techno Metal Post’s helical pier — three at the back of the solarium (the part that’s away from the house). They’re like giant metal screws, so the frost can’t grab them and pull them up. Only a certified technician can install these posts because specialized hydraulic machinery that measures soil conditions has to be used.
[...] When we began to build the cabin, the first thing we did was to put the 8″ x 8″ sill beams on top of the posts — and they fit perfectly square and level all around. Because of that exactness, keeping the cabin true as construction progressed was never an issue. [...]
