I am a deck installer and I want to know how this (technology) works.

The pile is screwed into the ground by our certified installers using specialized proprietary hydraulic equipment, until the pile reaches the required bearing capacity. The helix supports the load. A gauge on the installation machine measures the torque, so bearing capacity is confirmed on-site during the installation of the pile, so our certified installers know the exact allowable load capacities of each pile after it has been installed.

Once installed, our pile caps are used to attach the pile to the framing system. TMP pile caps come in many sizes and varieties, depending on the framing structure.
